Translation Studio
This form translates a grid into three-dimensional space. The interior is sculpted as an oblique space that misreads the exterior figure. The two entrances one at seven feet, the other at nine feet, shifting the perceived size of the room depending on which threshold you enter from.

Assembly Studio
Here, I created a rotatable stumpy chair that subverts anti-homeless architecture by ironically weaponizing discomfort and comfort. I did this through the surfacing of pyramids inspired by the under-road spikes in Guangzhou China. The six faces of the chair alternate between usable and hostile.

Flint and General Motors
This self-led project maps General Motors' impact on Flint, Michigan across three periods: pre-GM (1850–1908), GM's rise (1908–1980), and post-GM (1980–present). Maps document the city's founding expansion, redlining during economic growth, and the water crisis. A welded steel frame physically embodies the theme of industrialization, bringing the drawings into a cohesive installation.

Measured drawings of the School of Music Eero Saarinen (1964)
This project documented a selected architectural site fragment through observation, measurement, and sketching within a conceptual bounding box. Approaching measurement as translation rather than neutral recording, I captured dimensions and spatial relationships through field drawings that informed scaled orthographic representations and digital reconstruction, revealing how documentation fundamentally shapes architectural understanding and re-presentation.

Bedroom Set
This bedroom set was custom-designed for a specific bedroom, comprising two side tables, a sitting vanity, as well as a low bed frame. All pieces are proportional in heights. Using manual distressing techniques and a live edge on the vanity, I created a natural, weatheredness that emphasizes the wood's material character.

Timber Cabin
This self-led project explores the stage of the building process where only the skeletal frame exists. The drawing imagines a cabin that embraces this exposed structure rather than building over it. A physical model constructed from scrap pine and white clay responds to this concept, translating the drawn vision into three-dimensional form and material exploration.

Echo Chamber
My project explores "echo chamber" through three connected concepts: isolated socialization, sound visualization, and acoustic reverberation. I created a contradictory social space where two occupants connect only through sound via a narrow opening. Combining this with auditorial and visual concepts; the interior staggered rectangles visualize sound waves from plan while projecting sounds horizontally.

Sketchbook Series
In this piece, I wanted to work completely without reference, these drawings were an experiment and exploration of how I can bring atmosphere into my work. For each drawing, one side features a ten minute rough sketch of the composition, followed by the refined drawing on the other side.
