Flint and General Motors

This self-led project maps General Motors' impact on Flint, Michigan across three periods: pre-GM (1850–1908), GM's rise (1908–1980), and post-GM (1980–present). Maps document the city's founding expansion, redlining during economic growth, and the water crisis. A welded steel frame physically embodies the theme of industrialization, bringing the drawings into a cohesive installation.
